Joe Crafton is President and Partner of CROSSMARK, a leading privately-held company servicing consumer goods suppliers and retailers.
The company's principal areas of focus are Headquarters Sales, In-store Solutions, Business Intelligence, Data Collection, Retailer Solutions, Home Improvement Services, Event Marketing, and Software Development.
He joined CROSSMARK in 1988 after a variety of sales and management positions with Procter and Gamble. During his time with CROSSMARK, Joe has held positions of increasing responsibility, including Account Executive, Division Manager, Regional Vice President, Executive Vice President, Retail Operations, and President, Strategic Alliances.
He assumed his role as President of CROSSMARK in 2008. In addition to his general management responsibilities, his primary focus includes four practice areas: Business Development, Marketing, Retailer Solutions and the company's network of strategic alliance partners.
Joe is committed to the advancement of the consumer goods industry. A frequent speaker on Shopper Marketing, he is co-founder of the Shopper Marketing Forum at his alma mater, the University of Tennessee, where he earned his degree in marketing. He is also a co-founder of the National Association of Retail Marketing Services (NARMS) and serves as a member of the Nielsen Company Sales Advisory Board, The Grocery Manufacturers Association's Sales Committee, the Shopper Marketing Steering Committee, and the Product Recall/Safety Committee. Additionally Joe is active on the board of Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) where he received the distinguished "Silver Eagle Award."
He serves on the executive board of the Circle Ten Council of the Boy Scouts of America, with whom he has earned his Wood Badge and is active as an adult leader.
An avid outdoorsman, Joe is founder and chairman of two wildlife conservation organizations. He lives in Dallas with his wife Wendy and three teenage sons.
