Caryn Carmer SVP, Practice Leader MS&L Global Consumer Marketing, New York |
Caryn Carmer is a Senior Vice President and practice leader of the Global Consumer Marketing Practice in MS&L's New York office. In this capacity, Caryn is responsible for strategic leadership for a wide range of brand marketing activities. In addition to managing the group, she is the North American Account Director for the Procter & Gamble business, for brands ranging from Swiffer to Dawn and Charmin to Mr. Clean. She also lends strategic counsel and oversight to MS&L's Food & Beverage clients, including Heineken, OSI (Outback Steakhouse, Bonefish Grill), Heinz, Evian, and Ferrero USA (Ferrero, Tic Tac, Nutella). Other blue-chip clients on the consumer practice's roster include Best Buy, Evian, PUMA, and Underwriters' Laboratories.
Prior to joining MS&L, Caryn was the Director of New York Operations for PainePR, where she managed the work on such accounts as P&G's baby care business (Pampers diapers and wipes, Kandoo, and Dreft), Lipton Tea, Duracell batteries, and the launch of XM Satellite Radio, for which she won a “Best Of” Silver Anvil award from the PRSA in 2002.
Previously, Caryn's was a Vice President at MWW Group, where she worked on Bally Total Fitness and Trans World Entertainment. She started her career launching Pictionary and working on other games and toys with Stoller & Bard Communications. Caryn earned her B.A. from Montclair State University in English, with a minor in journalism.
